On days 17-22 of summer...

My true love and my boy stayed at home (and no, they're not the same person - but close!),
while my girls and I headed off to Drama Camp!

"Camp is for the Birds" was the title of the creation and we had a wonderful time learning the local birds, trees and vegetation in order to tell their story!  The children transformed into the birds and trees and guided the unwitting audience right into the centre of their story!

We braved a torrential storm and a power outage on the second to last day of camp (final rehearsal day) but things managed to come together in the end.  It does always seem to do that.

On the 13th day of summer...

My true love, kids, and me (I),
Went out on the motorbike to the lovely Log Barn,
Then a visit to Grandma and Grandpa's to help with their yard work,
Then to the movies to see Disney Nature's "Chimpanzee" which was GREAT (if not entirely real...Shon Thomas!)
Then a lovely dinner with friends to toast the success of one of our colleagues who is moving away,
And wrapped with another sunset motorbike ride!
Have I mentioned....I LOVE SUMMER!!!!

On the seventh day of summer...

My true love, kids and me (I),
Finished level one of the new wall,
Played hockey,
Went swimming,
And attended the OM CD Release party!!
